Mrs. Ferol Lancaster Youngblood, age 94, of 1134 Mudbridge Road, Buffalo, widow of Ray Willard Youngblood, passed away, Wednesday, April 10, 2024.
Mrs. Youngblood was born July 3, 1929, a daughter of the late Robert Lancaster and Willie Mae Lamb Lancaster. She was a graduate of West Springs High School and retired as a switchboard operator from Conso. Mrs. Youngblood was a lifelong and oldest member of Bogansville United Methodist Church where she had been a member of the United Methodist Women and the Hostess Committee.
Surviving are a brother, Alvin Lancaster of Buffalo; two grandchildren, Will Youngblood and wife Haley of Jonesville and Hunter Youngblood and wife Shae of Union; six great-grandchildren, Kori Youngblood, Kacie Youngblood, Ansley Youngblood, Hadleigh Youngblood, Nate Youngblood, and Mason Youngblood. She was predeceased by one son, Michael Brent Youngblood.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Bogansville United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Ed Traxler. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Tracey Faucett, Zack Wood, Lewis Lancaster, Tommy Lancaster, Jeffrey Heatherly and Mark Lancaster.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the services at the church.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Spartanburg Regional Hospice and her caregivers, Peggy Coker, Wanda Smith, and Amanda Erwood for their love and care of Mrs. Youngblood.
