Mrs. Frances E. Adams, age 98, formerly of Santuc, widow of Bob Adams, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at White Oak Estates of Spartanburg.
Mrs. Adams was born April 4, 1924, in Spartanburg, a daughter of the late Walter Echols and Annie Jordan Echols. She was a graduate of Boiling Springs High School and Winthrop College. Mrs. Adams retired from Union County Schools having taught at Sims Jr. High School. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church where she was a member of WMU and had previously taught GA’s.
Surviving are three children, Patti Adams of Chesnee, Robert Adams and wife Helen of Santuc, and Angela Hill and husband Geoff of Shelby; a sister, Betty Kunze of Inman; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sisters, Laura Echols and Macie Bellfield.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Wayne Cooke.
Visitation will be immediately following the services at the cemetery.
