Harold Dean Robinson, Jr.

             Mr. Harold Dean Robinson, Jr., age 58, of 128 Peach Shed Rd., Jonesville, husband of Regina Harvey Robinson of 37 years, passed away Friday, October 20, 2023 at his home.

            Mr. Robinson was born in Spartanburg, October 23, 1964, a son of Patricia Bevis Robinson of Jonesville and the late Harold Dean Robinson, Sr. He was a graduate of Jonesville High School and Spartanburg Technical College. Mr. Robinson was employed with Milliken and Co., Cedar Hill Plant and was a member of Gilead Baptist Church. He was a fireman with the Jonesville Fire Dept. for 40 years where he also served as Fire Commissioner. Mr. Robinson was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

            Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Katrina Warren and husband Jacob of Jonesville; a son, Matthew Phillip Robinson and fiancée Andrea Clark of Union; four grandchildren; Jace Atkinson, Noraleigh Warren, Maggie Morrow and Kolt Morrow; and his in-laws; Oren Lee Harvey and Elaine Camby Harvey of Jonesville, Stanley and Pamela Harvey Griffin of Union and Wayne and Sandra Harvey Clayton of Jonesville. He is also survived by a number of aunts, uncles and cousins along with a host of special friends and co-workers including, Michael and Rachel Brewington, Richard Prince, Ray Vinson and Lynn and Melissa Mitchell.

            Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel in Union conducted by Rev. Scott Cannon. Burial with Firemen Honors will follow at Jonesville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at the chapel prior to the services.

            Active pallbearers will be members of Jonesville Fire Department. Members of the Union Co. Firefighters Association and all other firefighters are asked to sit in a group.
