Mrs. Helen White Michaels, age 87, wife of the late Johnny Alfred Michaels of 2860 Stroupe Rd., Clover, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at her home.
Mrs. Michaels was born September 1, 1933 in York, a daughter of the late Thomas Dugar White, Sr. and Frances Lockridge White. She was a 1952 graduate of Clover High School and retired as a Supervisor from Professional Knit. Mrs. Michaels was a member of the Clover Church of the Nazarene, where she was formerly treasurer, a former youth Sunday School Teacher, Board Member of the Church and visited shut ins.
Surviving are six daughters, Vivian Jarvi of Stanley, NC, Sandra Benfield and husband Jerry of York, Johnnie Wise and husband Wayne of the home, Sara Snipe of Clover, Debbie Feagin and husband Barry of Newberry, and Malinda Hiland and husband Larry of Gastonia; two sons, Peter Francazi of Linthicum, MD and wife Beth and Paul Raab and wife Traudi of Austria; a special daughter, Alicia Williamson of Clover; a brother, Joe White of Maggie Valley; two sisters, Virginia Elders of Gastonia, Cynthia Lyles of Lancaster; twenty seven grandchildren, forty one great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one brother, Thomas Dugar White, Jr. and one sister, Ailene Meek Chester.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Clover Church of the Nazarene conducted by the Rev. Brett Boykin. Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:30 PM Friday evening at Clover Church of the Nazarene.
