Horace Randy Smith

            Mr. Horace Randall “Randy” Smith, age 65, husband Cheryl Shetley Smith of 228 Shetley Rd., passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at his home.

            Mr. Smith was born in Cowpens, March 12, 1955, a son of the late Horace Bomar Smith, Jr. and Thelma Poole Smith. He was retired from R.R. Donnelly Printers and was a member of Morningside Baptist Church.

            Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Horace Randall Smith, Jr. of Greer; a step-son, Teddy Scott Mull of Union; a special nephew, Brad Shetley and wife Autumn of Lyman; two sisters, Margie Miller of Spartanburg and Brenda Lindsey of Joanna; five grandchildren, Julianna Smith, Harmoney Smith, Luke Shetley, Jacob Shetley and Caroline Shetley. Mr. Smith was also survived by many other nieces and nephews and was predeceased by two sisters, Shirley Webber and Nancy Keith.

            Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Friday, November 13, 2020 at Morningside Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Andrew Austin and Rev. Dr. Aulbrey Calvert. Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be prior from 2:00 until 3:00 PM Friday at the church prior to the service.

            Active pallbearers will be Randall Smith, Doug Bradley, Nick Blanchard, Squirmy Blanchard, Terry Lindsey, David Byrd, Desiri Blanchard and Julianna Smith.

            Memorials may be made to Morningside Baptist Church AWANA Children’s Program, 112 Bates Ave., Union.

            The family will be at the home, 228 Shetley Rd., Union.
