Mr. James Dennis Haile, born May 5, 1947, left his beloved ponderosa, January 4, 2022 surrounded by his beloved wife and girls as he met his Jesus.
He leaves behind at the bunkhouse his cowgirl of 55 years, Thelma Skipper Haile. His ranch hands, Janet Haile Searcey (Leroy Searcey) of Inman, Jennifer Haile Waddell (Todd Waddell) of Boiling Springs, Jessica Haile Mullinax (Michael Mullinax) of Gaffney and Jamison Haile Williams (Brian Williams) of Charlotte, NC. His posse Stephen Searcey, Abby Searcey, Will Waddell, Emmett Mullinax, Sawyer Mullinax, Mae Williams, Hazel Williams, Lewis Williams, and Griffin Williams. His faithful sidekicks, brothers, Donald Haile (Susan Haile), Frank Haile (Celia Haile) and sister, Mickie Haile Holloway (Cleve Holloway) as well as many beloved wranglers, nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law. He was greeted at the corral gates by his parents, Frank Haile, Sr. and Lavenia Shelton Haile, grandparents, Felix Haile and Lorena Alford Haile, aunt and uncle, Mary Emma Haile Lemmonds and Eugene Lemmonds.
Mr. Haile was a graduate of Jonesville High School and retired from Bellsouth. He was a veteran of the US Army and formerly served with the South Carolina National Guard, Jonesville Unit.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Friday evening, January 7, 2022, at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home in Union.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the Holcombe’s Jonesville Chapel, 145 Hames Ave., Jonesville, conducted by Rev. Bill Harris and Rev. Scott Cannon. Burial will follow at the Haile Family Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Leroy Searcey, Stephen Searcey, Todd Waddell, Will Waddell, Michael Mullinax and Brian Williams.

The family will be at the home 395 New Hope Church Rd., Jonesville.
