James Kimberly Steen Obituary

            Mr. James Kimberly “Lee” Steen, age 37, of 159 Neal Shoals Rd., Union, passed away October 9, 2021, at his home.

            Mr. Steen was born in Union, May 29, 1984, a son of James “Bo” Patrick of Union and the late Angela Reardon Patrick.  He was a graduate of Lockhart High School and was a self- employed plumber and automobile mechanic. He was a member of Lockhart Presbyterian Church.

            Surviving in addition to his father is his maternal grandmother, Betty Ashe Steen of Lockhart; two sons, James Kimberly “Lee-Bo” Steen and Alexander “Duece” Steen both of Union; the mother of his children, Allie King of Union; a brother, Jonathan Patrick and wife Kayla of Lockhart; and three nephews, Jonathan “J.J.”, Andrew and Jacob Mathews and a niece, Makenna Ingle. Lee is also survived by a step-father, Roy Parker of Lockhart; three step-sisters, Regina Parker of Lockhart, Michelle Jett and Dollie Nelson both of Union; a sister-in-law, Betty Reardon of Whitmire and a special aunt, Ester Starnes of Whitmire. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Claude Steen, his step-mother, Peggy Patrick; a brother, Freeman “Red Dog” Reardon and sister, Myra Sue Reardon.

            Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Bullock Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Robert Jarvis.

            Active pallbearers will be Jonathan Patrick, Brian Henderson, Dale Beahrs, Max Bolin, John Queen, Allen Ramsey, John Bolin and Anthony Carr.

            Visitation will be held Wednesday evening, October 13, 2021, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.

            Memorials may be made to Lockhart Presbyterian Church, c/o Eugenia McKnight, 353 Brown’s Creek Church Rd., Union, SC 29379.

            The family will be at the home of Betty Steen, 314 S. 6th St., Lockhart.
