Janette Inman Obituary

Mrs. Janette Marie Pike Inman, age 84, of Brown’s Creek Church Rd., went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, May 16, 2020.

            Mrs. Inman was born in Anderson, May 10, 1936, a daughter of the late M.D. and Dillie Estelle Waldrop Pike. She was a graduate of Lockhart High School and was retired from Conso Products. Mrs. Inman was a member of Fairforest Baptist Church and also attended Morningside Baptist Church. She was a beloved mother of three children, a grandmother of six and a great-grandmother of four.

            She leaves behind her beloved children, Bruce Inman and wife Jane of Jonesville, Jeannie Tucker of Union and Mark Inman and wife Melanie of Union. Her grandchildren are Heather Sealy and husband Zebco; Jennifer Scruggs, Jonathan Inman and wife Rebecca and Scott Inman and wife Angelia. Her great-grandchildren are Drake and Audrey Sealy, Cheyenne Flanagan and Abby Foy. She was predeceased two grandchildren, Rhonda Tucker and Matt Inman; her sister, Louise Nixon and a wonderful daughter-in-law, Cindy Seymore Inman.

            The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff and nurses of Spartanburg Regional Hospice for their care of Mrs. Inman during her illness. The family also expresses their love and gratitude for all the prayers and support received during the loss of their Mother. Please continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

            Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, May 17, 2020 at Fairforest Baptist Church cemetery conducted by Rev. Allen Gregory.

            Active Pallbearers will be Mike Austin, Randy Morrison, Russell Steen, Tommy Driggers, Gene Adams and Mike Chastain.

            The family will receive friends at the graveside following the services.

            Memorials may be made to Morningside Baptist Church, 112 Bates Ave., Union, SC 29379 or to Spartanburg Regional Hospice, 1530 Drayton Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.

            The family will be at their respective homes.
