Jerry Wayne Hull

Mr. Jerry Wayne Hull, age 64, husband of Lillian Rebecca Robinette Hull, of 17 years, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 30, 2023 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. 

Wayne was born December 21, 1958 in Salem, VA, the son of the late Everett Douglas Hartberger, and the late Arthur Robert Hull Sr. and Betty Juanita White Hull.  He retired from being a foreman in construction.  Wayne was a faithful member of Lockhart Free Will Baptist Church. He loved the Lord and praising him through song. He was a loving, husband, father, and grandfather.

Surviving in addition to his wife are four children, Melinda Hullett and husband Donald of Union, J.B. Powers III and wife Lindsay of Sharon, James Powers and wife Nikki of Boiling Springs, and Brittany Powers of Union; ten grandchildren, Nick, Myra, D.J., Alana, McKenzie, Samuel, Matthew, Lilly, Coleson, and Brayden; three brothers, Russell Hartberger and wife Angie, Allen Reynolds and wife Tammy and Arthur Robert Hull Jr; a sister, Connie Atkins and husband Steve; nieces and nephews, Carmen and Rashad Patterson and their daughter, Brooklyn, Robert and Sandi Hull, Monica Hull and her children, Eli and Ella Goodwin, and Katherine and John Atkins; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, loved ones, friends and church family.

Visitation services will be held at 1:00 pm followed by Funeral services at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Lockhart Free Will Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Sam Baine.  Burial will follow at Lockhart Cemetery.

Special music will be by Nikki Brannon and Allen Reynolds.

Active pallbearers will be J.B. Powers III, James Powers, Donald Hullett, Nick Hullett, D.J. Hullett, and Mike McCloud.
