Jimmie Lewis "Jim" Cantrell, Jr.

Mr. Jimmie Lewis “Jim” Cantrell, Jr., age 75, husband of Patricia Lunsford Cantrell of 133 Ben Black Rd., Union, passed away, Thursday, December 3, 2020 at his home.

Mr. Cantrell was born July 3, 1945 in Charlotte, a son of the late Jimmie Lewis Cantrell, Sr. and Julia Patterson Cantrell Adams.  He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force having retired after 21 years of service.  Mr. Cantrell was a graduate of Union High School and earned his Associates Degree while in the Air Force.  He was a member of Browns Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Kimberly Cantrell Inabinet and husband Jason of Union and Christina Cantrell Earl and husband Michael of Fairfield, CA; six grandchildren, Harrison and Anna Earl and Jake, Mia, Olivia, and Ben Inabinet; a brother, Fred Cantrell and wife Sheila of Indian Land; a sister-in-law, Joyce Bradford and husband Curt; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 4:00 PM, Sunday, December 6, 2020 at Fairforest Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Dr. Curt Bradford.  Due to the current health crisis the family request attendees practice social distancing and wear mask.
