John Moore Obituary

Mr. John Gordon Moore, age 78, husband of Kathy Davis Moore of Stonecrest Court, Pacolet, passed away, Friday, May 20, 2022 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Moore was born in Murphy, NC, November 17, 1943, a son of the late Bergan and Ethel Evan Moore. He received his bachelor’s degree from Berea College in Kentucky and a master’s degree in Psychology from Iowa State University. Mr. Moore formerly taught Psychology at Wisconsin State University and served as Assistant Director of Western Regional Little League Baseball. He was a loving husband and brother who will be greatly missed by his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a brother, Gerald Moore and wife Jackie of Union and several cousins, nieces, and a nephew.

The family will schedule a memorial service for a later date.
