Kenneth Wayne Holcombe

Mr. Kenneth Wayne Holcombe, age 81, of 125 Amber Dr., Union, widower of Sandra Littlejohn Holcombe, passed away, Friday, January 7, 2022, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Mr. Holcombe was born March 12, 1940, in Union, a son of the late Sidney Earl Holcombe and Margaret Gregory Holcombe.  Mr. Holcombe retired as a Pastor and had also retired from Community Cash as Produce Manager.  He was a member of Victory Baptist Church.

Surviving are three children, Mandy Adams and husband Kenny, Kenneth L. “Willie” Holcombe and Melanie, and Angie Matthews and husband Jamie all of Union; five grandchildren, Lance Holcombe and wife Jessica, Blair Turner, Chasity Holcombe, Hannah Brewington and husband Kevin, and Bailey Smith and husband Nick; eleven great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Carolyn Abee and Pat Betenbaugh and husband Bob all of Union.  He was predeceased by a brother, Michael D. Holcombe and a great-granddaughter, Kyley Grace Smith.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, January 10, 2022, at Rosemont Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Damon Duncan.

Active pallbearers will be Hayden Inman, Kenny Adams, Nick Smith, Eddie Turner, Jamie Matthews, and Dustin Turner.  Lance Holcombe and Kevin Brewington are asked to serve as the honorary escort.

Visitation will be immediately following the services at the cemetery.

The family is the home of his daughter, Mandy Adams, 106 Scarborough Dr., Union, SC 29379.
