Lenonard Frank O'Shields

Mr. Leonard Frank O’Shields, Jr., age 76, of Union, widow of Ramoth Austin O’Shields, passed away, Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Heartland of Union. 

Mr. O’Shields was born June 7, 1944 in Union, a son of the late Leonard O’Shields and Lillie Mae Moore O’Shields.  He owned and operated Frank’s Cabinet Shop.  Mr. O’Shields was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp.  He was a member of Browns Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Christy O’Shields Griffin and husband Al and Laura O’Shields Crisp and husband David all of Buffalo; nine grandchildren, Kateline Parker and husband Ethan, Nicholas Bledsoe, Isac Bledsoe, Lilah Crisp, Beckham Crisp, Lakelyn Crisp, AJ Griffin, Leslie McCoy and husband Zack, and Alaina Hines; ten great-grandchildren; one brother, Larry O’Shields and wife Jerry; and one sister, Linda Carter and husband Floyd.  He was predeceased by one granddaughter, Farrah Wyatt.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Brown’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Brian Redding.

Visitation will be held immediately following the services.
