Linda Tucker Brackins

Mrs. Linda Tucker Brackins, age 72, of 2018 Jonesville Hwy., Union, widow of David Brackins, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2022, at her home.

Mrs. Brackins was born July 16, 1950, in Union, a daughter of the late Wilson Tucker and Hazeleen Cannon Tucker.  She was a graduate of Union High School and retired from West Point—Pepper Mill in Whitmire.  Mrs. Brackins had formerly worked at J.P. Stevens.  She was a member of Christian Fellowship Baptist Church.  Mrs. Brackins was a hard worker, loving wife, and mother.

Surviving are two sons, Roy Brackins and wife Bridget of Gaffney and Bryan Brackins and wife Olivia of Union; a daughter, Christie Sowers and husband David of Chesnee; a brother, Bill Tucker and wife Marie; fifteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Destiny Sowers.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by the Rev. Randy Smith and Rev. Joe Brackins.  Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be David Sowers, Wilson Brackins, Ty Peters, Dennis Tucker, Tommy Foley, and Josh Little.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
