Louise O. Rider

Mrs. Louise Maxine O’dell Rider, age 78, wife of Walter Stuart “Bunt” Rider of 115 Morris Farm Rd., Jonesville, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at her home.

            Mrs. Rider was born in Union, January 30, 1943, a daughter of the late Boyd and Ruby Reynold O’dell. She was a graduate of Jonesville High School and was a retired seamstress. Mrs. Rider was a member of Tate Memorial Baptist Church in Pacolet.

            Surviving in addition to her husband is a daughter, Paula Riffey and husband Lonnie of Whitmire; a son, Walter Allen Rider of Jonesville, three sisters, Delores Hill and husband Roy and Marie Trammell all of Jonesville, and Brenda Nations of West Springs; a brother, Kenneth Reynolds and wife Nancy of Pauline; three grandchildren, Shelby Riffey and wife Lori, Kaitlin Holbert and husband Cody Clark all of Whitmire and Heather Varner of Cowpens; and three great-grandchildren, Emily and Teagan Holbert and Gabby Riffey.

            Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, October 11, 2021 at Jonesville Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Dennis Tessnier. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the services.

            Memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Home Hospice, 1530 Drayton Ave., Spartanburg, SC 29307.

            The family will be at the home, 115 Morris Farm Rd., Jonesville.
