Mrs. Lucy Addie Ivester Haney, age 80, of 225 Hoyt Dr, Union, widow of Gilliam Haney, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Heartland of Union.
Mrs. Haney was born on April 8, 1941 in Honolulu, Hawaii, a daughter of the late Bill and Lucy Ferreira Clayton. She was retired Her Majesty and Conso Products of Union and was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.
Surviving are a son, Shawn “Bonie” Haney and wife Lynetta Shealy of Jonesville; three brothers, Bobby Ivester and wife Elizabeth of Jonesville, Grady Ivester of Hawaii and Frances J. Ivester of Nevada; a daughter-in-law, Melinda Haney of Union; special friends, Virginia Wix of Jonesville and Mary Peake of Union; fifteen grandchildren: Jay Haney, Christy Taylor (Bary), Misty Heatherly (Aaron), Harley Jo Bright, Hallie Bright, J.T. Gossett, D.J. Haney, Bradley Taylor, Hunter Taylor, Jacob Haney, Christopher Haney, Junior Pratt, Michael Sugibayashi, David Wilkins, and Matthew Wilkins. Mrs. Haney was predeceased by two sons, Tommy Haney and Jimmy Haney, a step-daughter, JoAnn Wilkins, a brother, Kenneth Ivester and a granddaughter, Hunter Bright.
The family wishes to express a special Thank You to Heartland Nursing Center and Hospice Care for their care of Mrs. Haney during her illness.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 23, 2021, at the Holcombe’s Jonesville Chapel, 145 Hames Ave., Jonesville, conducted by Mr. Chad Ponder. Burial will follow at Haney Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Michael Taylor, Jay Haney, Jason Gossett, D.J. Haney, Ivery Smith, Aaron Heatherly and Barry Taylor.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at the chapel prior to the services.

The family will be at the home of her son, 503 N. Main St., Jonesville.
