Mary Alice Johnson

            Mrs. Mary Alice Bigham Johnson, age 76, of 629 Rice Ave. Ext., Union, widow of Cecil Johnson, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Spartanburg Medical Center.

            Mrs. Johnson was born in York and was raised in Statesville, North Carolina. She was a loving mother who enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

            Surviving are two sons, Johnny Johnson and wife Katina of Gaffney, and Kyle Hamilton and girlfriend Jessica Toaso of Webberville, MI; four granddaughters, Ashley Stillwell and husband Brandon, Juliette Scofield-Johnson, Layla Johnson and Kaleagh Johnson; one great-grandson, Liam Stillwell and an “adopted” son, Michael Littlejohn of Beaumont, NC.  Mrs. Johnson was predeceased by a son, Mark Johnson and a granddaughter, Ariel Hamilton.

            A celebration of life service will be held 6:00 PM Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 until 6:00 PM at the chapel prior to the service.
