Patricia B. Edmonds

            Mrs. Patricia Brown Edmonds, age 78, of Deepwater Rd., Union, widow of James Edmonds, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.

            Mrs. Edmonds was born in Union, December 16, 1944, a daughter of the late George O. Brown and Irene Melton Brown Greer. She was retired from Torrington Co.-Timken, and was a faithful member of Hebron Baptist Church. Mrs. Edmonds was a loving mother, grandmother and big sister. She enjoyed cooking for her family and doing crafts.

            Surviving are a son, Tony Horne and wife Jenni of Irmo; a special son, Steve Willard and wife Laura of Union; a sister, Iris B. Whisnant of Union; one granddaughter, Courtney Horne Allen and husband Tony and four great-grandchildren, Leo, Charley, Truman and Winnie Allen. She was predeceased by a son, Steven Harold Horne and two brothers, William T. Brown and Oliver R. Brown.

            The family would like to say a special Thank You to Crescent Hospice and caregivers, Shannon Case and Elizabeth Gillam for the care and compassion shown to Mrs. Edmonds during her illness.

            Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Brian Childers. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service.

            Memorials may be made to Hebron Baptist Church, 143 Hebron Church Rd., Union, SC 29379.

            The family will be at their respective homes.
