Mr. Raymond Eugene Workman, Jr. age 87 of 709 Rice Ave., Union, passed away Friday, April 14, 2023 at Heartland Health Care Center-Union.

Mr. Workman was born in Clay County, Illinois October 28, 1935, a son of the late Raymond Eugene Workman, Sr. and Lorraine Greene Workman. He started his military career after serving two years in the US Army, then he transferred to the US Navy and retired after twenty-six years of service.

Surviving are seven sons, Danny Eugene Workman and wife Debbie of Union; Michael “Mike” Workman of VA; Jerry Workman, George Workman, Donald “Donnie” Workman and wife Paula, Robert “Rob” Workman and wife Michelle all of IL; John “Rusty” Workman and wife Gloria of GA; a daughter, Angelia “Angel” Mellentin of MO; Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mr. Workman was predeceased by a son Raymond Eugene Workman, III.
