Obituary
Mrs. Sara Francis Dockery Pearson, age 84, of 206 James St., Union, widower of Franklin Pearson, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, April 19, 2023.
Mrs. Pearson was born in Union, December 21, 1938, a daughter of the late Houston and Ruth Knox Dockery. She was a graduate of Union High School and retired from United Merchants, Union Plant. Mrs. Pearson was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Michael Pearson of the home and a sister, Emma Mae McCoy of Union. Mrs. Pearson was predeceased by a son, Victor Franklin Pearson, two sisters, Margaret Walton and Lena Lancaster and a brother, Pete Dockery.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Rosemont Cemetery conducted by Rev. Ricky Lancaster. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Saturday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice, 1530 Drayton Rd., Drayton, SC 29333.
The family will be at their respective homes.
