Susan Denise Greer

Ms.Susan Denise Greer, age 68 of 313 Mill St., Lockhart, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, October 22, 2023 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Ms. Greer was born in Union, June 27, 1955, a daughter of the late Donald Eugene Greer and Ruth Howard Greer. She was graduate of Lockhart High School and was from the banking and finance industry. She was a member of Lockhart Methodist Church where she served as a S.S. teacher, working in VBS and actively served on various committees in the church. Ms. Greer was a loving mother and grandmother. She was known as Gam Gam to her grandchildren.  She was an avid University of South Carolina Gamecock fan

Surviving are a son, Wesley Kyle Greer and his wife Lauren Ward of Spartanburg. Ms. Greer is survived by a sister, Donna Williams and husband John of Union and a brother Brent Greer and wife Rhonda of Buffalo. She also survived by grandchildren Kyleigh and Maddie Greer and her grand-dog Harvey. Ms. Greer is survived by a host of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Martha McKinnon and a brother Larry Greer.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Duncan Acres Methodist Church. The services will be conducted by the Rev. Merritt Wentz and the Rev.. Lynn Ford. Interment will be at Union Memorial Gardens and the family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the services.

Active pallbearers will be Michael Williams, Johnny Williams, Randy George, Matthew Greer, Kelvin Williams and Paul Black.

The family will be at their respective homes.
