Terrie Brock Filer

Terrie Elaine Brock Filer, age 69 of Forest City died Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.  She was born on November 24, 1952, in Laurens, South Carolina and was raised in Union, South Carolina.  Terrie was a daughter of the late John and Helen Terry Brock. 

Terrie was a graduate of Union High School, and she went on to the University of South Carolina where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree.  She was a member of Sardis United Methodist Church in Union, South Carolina.  Terrie loved shopping, baking, going to the beach and especially spending time with her family. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Travis Brock.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Filer of the home, her sons, Terry (Billy) Burgess and wife Ashely, Jonathan Filer and wife Hope, and William Mosley and wife Tracy, her daughter, Angela Greer and husband, Al, as well as her beloved grandchildren, Cody Greer, Terry Burgess, III, and Alexa Greer, great-grandchildren, Elaina Lauferswiler and expectant great-grandson, Hendrix Lankford.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Sardis United Methodist Church, 964 Sardis Road, Union, South Carolina.  Visitation will be held immediately following the service in the Family Life Center. 

The family is at the home of Angela and Al Greer, 6901 Sardis Road, Union, South Carolina.
