Terry Lee McNeace

Mr. Terry Lee McNeace, age 71, husband of Debbie Blackwell McNeace of 202 Robinson Farm Road, Jonesville, SC passed away Friday, November 13, 2020 surrounded by family at his home.

Mr. McNeace was born February 19, 1949 in Union, SC, a son of the late Lester Greer (L.G.) McNeace and Ruth Williams McNeace. He was a 1969 graduate of Union High School. He attended USC-Union and Spartanburg Technical College. He retired from Felters Inc. Mr. McNeace was a veteran of the South Carolina National Guard Jonesville Unit. He was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church where he was a member of Mary Anne Duncan and Lauren Cantrell’s Sunday School Class, a choir member and a former deacon.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a God Son, who was the joy of his life, Isaac Thomas Lawson; a sister, Debbie Teague (Dennis) of Columbia; two brothers, Ronnie McNeace (Patsy) of Union; Mike McNeace (Cheryl) of Union; a special niece, Janet Ashmore (William) of Newberry; numerous nieces and nephews; extended and loving family Charles and Karen Whitehead of Pacolet; David, Holly, Will, Logan and John David Lawson of Spartanburg; Brad, Harmony, Norah and Brady Greer of Union. He also leaves behind his loyal four-legged sidekick, Rosie, who never left his side.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30pm on Monday, November 16, 2020 at Holcombe Funeral Home Chapel, Union, SC by the Rev. Ralph Brown.

Active pallbearers will be Jamie McNeace, Rodney McNeace, David Lawson, Brad Greer, Will Lawson, John David Lawson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack McAbee, Steve Jolley, Jimmy Whelchel and Patrick McNeace.

Visitation will be held from 1:30pm to 2:30pm prior to the service at the chapel.

A special thanks to all his nurses Aimee Burgess, Demetria Lindsay, Jessica Paige, Jessica Overholser and the Heartland Hospice Team.
