Vickie Gail Thompson Turner

            Mrs. Vickie Gail Thompson Turner, age 61, of 230 Harris St., Jonesville, widow of James Turner, Sr., passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

            Mrs. Turner was born in Spartanburg, January 2, 1959, a daughter of the late Carl and Rozelle Fowler Thompson. She attended Spartanburg High School and was a homemaker.

            Surviving are three daughters, Charity Thompson and Jesseca Thompson both of Cowpens and Christina Toth and husband Jeremy of Jonesville; a brother, Billy Thompson of Inman; her mother-in-law, Peggy Turner of Jonesville; a sister-in-law, Virginia Babb and husband Donald; a brother-in-law, Jerry Turner of Pacolet; fourteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and expecting a fourth. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Dwayne Thompson of Jonesville. She was predeceased by a son, James Edward Turner, Jr.

            Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, July 24, 2020 at the Holcombe’s Jonesville Chapel conducted by Rev. Mitch Trammell. Burial will follow at Jonesville Memorial Gardens.

            Those desiring may visit the family Thursday, July 23, 2020 beginning at 2:00 PM at the home of her daughter, Christina Toth, 449 Tinsley Rd., Pacolet, SC.
