William Grady, Jr. Obituary

            Mr. William “Billy” Grady, Jr., age 77, husband of Ann Vaughan Grady of 155 Will Palmer Rd., Union, passed away Thursday February 11, 2021, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

            Mr. Grady was born in Union, January 14, 1944, a son of the late William Grady, Sr. and June Hogan Grady. He retired after 30 years as a truck driver with Petroleum Express and was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Mr. Grady loved his family and loved to hunt and fish.

            Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Angie Harrison and husband Tim; a granddaughter, Kelly Wix and husband Travis; and a great-grandson who was his pride and joy, Noah Wix. Mr. Grady was also survived by a sister, Betty Shetley and her husband Buddy; a sister-in-law Nell Malpass; his fur babies, Harley and Patch; and several nieces and nephews including a special niece Gloria Sizemore and husband Tim. Mr. Grady was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth Grady.

            Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Victory Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Ronnie Cole and Rev. David Burrell. Burial will be at Union Memorial Gardens.

            Active pallbearers will be Leonard Pruitt, Rickey Wix, Ronnie Gault, Johnny Abee, Rodney Davis and Chase Davis.

            Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 3:00 PM Sunday at the church prior to the service.

            Memorials may be made to Victory Baptist Church, 187 Neal Shoals Rd., Union, SC 29379.

            The family will be at the home, 155 Will Palmer Rd., Union.
