William is the son of Billy and Betty Jo Holcombe and the grandson of S.R. and Irene Holcombe. He represents the third generation of the Holcombe family to serve Union County families. A 1980 graduate of Union Academy, 1984 graduate of Wofford College, and 1985 graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science, William joined the family business in August 1985 as a licensed funeral director and embalmer after graduating valedictorian of his class.
William has devoted his career to continuing his family’s tradition of compassion, integrity, and dedicated service. In 2020, he became sole owner of Holcombe Funeral Home. He and his wife, Jennifer, have two children, Sarah Holcombe Ward and William E. “Will” Holcombe, Jr., and are proud grandparents to two granddaughters, Emma and Caroline. Known for his steady presence and deep respect for every family he serves, William continues to uphold the legacy built since 1949 with dignity and care.


Sarah is the daughter of William and Jennifer Holcombe and represents the fourth generation of the Holcombe family to serve the people of Union County. A 2007 graduate of Union High School, she completed her apprenticeship and became a licensed funeral director in December 2019.
In addition to her work as a licensed funeral director, Sarah oversees community outreach, communications, and public relations for Holcombe Funeral Home and Holcombe Cemeteries. She is deeply devoted to continuing her family’s tradition of compassionate service while bringing a fresh, modern perspective to funeral care. Sarah is passionate about connecting with families, supporting local causes, and ensuring every service reflects the warmth and respect her family is known for.
She and her husband, Mitchell Ward, have one daughter, Caroline Catherine, who represents the fifth generation of the Holcombe family in Union. Known for her kindness, creativity, and dedication, Sarah continues to carry forward her family’s legacy with pride and heartfelt care for every family she serves.


Will is the son of William and Jennifer Holcombe and represents the fourth generation of the Holcombe family to serve Union County families. A 2013 graduate of Union County High School, Will is proud to continue his family’s long tradition of compassionate and professional service.
He joined Holcombe Funeral Home as a funeral director apprentice, working alongside his father and sister to carry forward the family’s commitment to excellence and care. Will has one daughter, Emma Elizabeth, who represents the fifth generation of the Holcombe family in Union. Known for his friendly nature and dependable work ethic, Will strives to serve each family with the same respect and compassion that have defined the Holcombe name for more than 75 years.


Audrea is the granddaughter of the late S.R. and Irene Holcombe, the daughter of the late August and Sybil Holcombe, and the first cousin of William E. Holcombe, representing another proud branch of the Holcombe family’s long legacy of service. Born and raised in Union — in fact, upstairs in the original funeral home — Audrea has been part of the Holcombe family story from the very beginning.
A 1979 graduate of Union Academy and a graduate of the University of Maryland, Audrea became a licensed funeral director in November 1993. As a preneed specialist, she helps families thoughtfully plan ahead, ensuring peace of mind and personalized service. With more than three decades of experience, Audrea is known for her calm presence, professionalism, and dedication to helping each family she serves with understanding and care.
Audrea and her husband, Chuck Douglass, have four adult children and seven grandchildren. Her deep roots in the community and her lifelong commitment to the Holcombe family business reflect her genuine love for Union County and the people who call it home.


Jamie is a graduate of Union High School and Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science. He has been a valued member of the Holcombe Funeral Home staff for many years, bringing professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail to every family he serves.
A licensed funeral director and embalmer since April 1992, Jamie also serves as a preneed specialist, helping families plan ahead with care and confidence. Known for his calm presence, steady leadership, and deep respect for each family who places their trust in him, Jamie’s dedication and humility have made him an integral part of the Holcombe team and a trusted friend to the Union County community.


Kimberly serves as Manager of Holcombe Cemeteries, Inc., overseeing daily operations and assisting families with cemetery arrangements and perpetual care. A graduate of Union High School and Limestone College, she brings both experience and professionalism to every family she serves.
In addition to her management role, Kimberly works closely with families to design custom cemetery markers and memorials, helping them create lasting tributes that honor their loved ones with beauty and care. Known for her organization, integrity, and compassion, she ensures that each family’s needs are met with respect and understanding.
She and her late husband, Phillip, have two adult children and three grandsons. Kimberly’s dedication to excellence helps maintain the high standards and trusted reputation that Holcombe has upheld for more than 75 years. Her caring nature and commitment to service make her a valued member of the Holcombe team and a trusted resource for families throughout Union County.


Terry is a graduate of Cowpens High School and Limestone College. He serves as a licensed funeral director at Holcombe Funeral Home, assisting with funeral services, visitations, and daily operations. Over the years, he has gained valuable experience in funeral service and takes pride in helping ensure that each service is conducted with dignity and care.
In addition to his work in funeral service, Terry has many years of experience in music and ministry, which allows him to serve families with understanding, compassion, and faith-based support.
Terry and his wife, Nancy, have two adult daughters and two grandsons. His dependability and attention to detail make him a steady and professional presence at Holcombe Funeral Home and a familiar face to many families in the community.
